In industries historically dominated by men, like food, events, and hospitality, we're charting new territory. About The Founders
Meet the dynamic duo behind BECKZBAX—Winter Baxter and Kelsey Beckford. Their paths converged at Spelman College, where they formed a lifelong bond as both Spelman sisters and best friends. Recognizing a void within the hospitality realm where Black women were underrepresented, they hatched a plan to bridge the gap. In August 2022, fueled by their strengths and vision, they launched the BECKZBAX Supper Club. Their inaugural event at Moko NYC in August 2022 marked the birth of a movement that celebrates unity and conversation.
Cultivating Connection: BECKZBAX's impact has been transformative for Winter, heightening her awareness of the diverse experiences and needs within the Black community. The safe spaces they curate have unearthed profound conversations and deepened her appreciation for the strength of the women around her.
